The first shipments for this year:
–>a trumpet for child in Alexandria, VA;
–>a violin and set of recorders to our long-time partners at the Casa Timateo orphanage of Sonora, Mexico;
–>six violins to an underfunded elementary school in Baltimore, MD; AND
–>a big shipment to Girl’s Rock & Roll Camp in Portland, Oregon. The girls get two electric guitars, two amps, and a bushel of new drumsticks.

Hungry for Music is sending two trombones to the Lone Star School in Salulpa, Oklahoma today. We had sent them several other instruments last year which allow kids an opportunity to participate in their music program.

We are saddened to hear that Amy Farris, a talented violinist and vocalist, has passed away recently, after battling a long illness.
